Signing in

Log in

1. Open the log-in page.
2. Enter your email address and password.
3. Tick Remember me to stay logged in on this device. Leave it off on a shared computer.
4. Press Log in. If you turned on two-factor authentication, enter the code from your app next.

Log in with Discord or Google

When logging in with Discord or Google is available, the log-in page shows a button for it. It works for an account that was created with that service or connected to it in your settings. Two-factor authentication still applies.

Forgot your password

1. On the log-in page, choose Trouble logging in?.
2. Enter your email address and press Email me a reset link. For your privacy the page says the same thing whether or not the address has an account.
3. Open the link within 60 minutes and choose a new password.

If the link has expired, ask for a new one.

The security check

Log in, sign up and the reset form may show a short “are you human” check. If it says the check expired or did not go through, wait until it has restarted and try again.

Too many tries

After several wrong passwords in a short time, logging in is paused for a moment. Wait a minute, then try again.

“This account is banned”

An account that broke our terms can be banned, for a while or for good. The log-in page then says so. See Removals and bans for how to dispute it.
