What happens to a page or an account that breaks the rules, and how to dispute it.
Removed from Explore
Our team can take a page out of Explore. The page itself stays online. The editor tells you, and the Explore switch stays off until the team allows the page back. You can then list it again.
Content removed after a report
When we remove or hide something after a report, we tell the page’s owner why. See the copyright and reports page for how to dispute it.
Banned accounts
An account that breaks our terms can be banned for a while or for good:
- it is logged out, and logging in shows that it is banned and until when;
- its pages show “not found” to visitors and leave Explore;
- nothing can be bought while it is banned, and a ban is not a reason for a refund.
