Account settings

Change your email address or password, and choose which emails you get.

Open Settings at the bottom of the sidebar. It has five tabs: Account, Security, Appearance, Aliases and Plan.

Name and email

In Account, change your name and press Save. Changing your email address works in two steps, so a typo cannot lock you out:

  1. Enter the new address and your current password.
  2. Open the link we send to the new address within one hour. Until then your current address keeps working; Cancel stops the change.

You can ask for an email change a few times an hour at most. We also tell your old address about the change.

Password

In Security, Change password asks for your current password and the new one twice. Changing it logs you out on every other device, which is also the way to sign out a device you no longer have.

Emails

In Account, Emails has one switch: A copy of each message and drawing that visitors send from your page. It is off until you turn it on; your Messages page keeps everything either way. Account emails, such as confirming your address or resetting your password, are always sent.

Discord and Google

In Account, connect Discord or Google to log in with them. Connecting needs your password. Connecting Discord also gives you your badges as roles in the beseen Discord server and lets you show your Discord profile with a Discord user block. We only see your Discord username and account number. Disconnect removes the connection and the roles.

Dashboard zoom

In Appearance, Dashboard zoom makes the whole dashboard larger or smaller. It is saved to your account. On phones the pages keep their own size.
