Photo, background and sound

Open your page in the editor, then the Media section: your photo, your background and your sound are all there. Uploads save as soon as they finish.

Profile photo

A JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 5 MB (15 MB with Premium). A square picture works best.

Background

• A picture: JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF, up to 5 MB (15 MB with Premium).
• Or a video: MP4, up to 20 MB (150 MB with Premium).

If a video has sound, the editor asks whether to play the video only or the video and its sound. Until you answer, it plays muted.

Sound

An MP3, OGG, WAV or M4A file, up to 8 MB (20 MB with Premium). It plays behind your page. Visitors control it: they can turn it down or off, and we remember their choice in their browser.

Effects and presets

Pictures and video can take effects such as brightness, contrast, blur, a vignette, a glow, an overlay colour or a ring. The sound can take effects such as volume, fades, speed, bass, treble, echo and reverb. Ready-made presets apply a set of effects in one go.

You can save your own presets, up to 24 for pictures and 24 for sound. Effects wait for Save changes.

Limits for every upload

• Pictures up to 8,192 pixels on their longest side.
• At most 20 uploads a minute.
