Messages and drawings
Let visitors send you a message or a drawing, and read them in Messages.
Two blocks let visitors send you something: the Message form and the Drawing canvas. What they send arrives in Messages in your dashboard.
Add one
In the editor’s Blocks section, add a Message form or a Drawing canvas, give it a title and, if you like, a short description, then press Save changes.
What visitors send
- Message form: a message of up to 1,000 characters, and if they choose, their name and their email address so you can reply.
- Drawing canvas: a drawing, and if they choose, their name.
Visitors are told that only you receive what they send. To stop abuse, one visitor can send a few at a time, and a page receives at most 30 an hour.
Reading them
Open Messages in the sidebar. Filter by messages or drawings, by page, or unread only, and search. Opening one marks it read. Delete removes it for good. Messages are kept for 90 days.
Email copies
You can also get a copy of each one by email: turn on A copy of each message and drawing in Settings, Account. It is off until you turn it on. At most 10 copies an hour are emailed per page; the rest still arrive in Messages. Each email has a link to stop these emails.
Privacy
A visitor’s email address is only shared if they choose to give it. What you do with it after that is up to you. See the privacy policy.
