Badges

Official badges, your own custom badges and the badge colours on each page.

Badges are small icons next to your name on your page. Some you claim once you qualify, some are given by our team; others you make yourself.

Official badges

Official badges show something true about an account: that it belongs to our team, that it supported beseen, or that it has Premium, for example. In the editor, Badges (in the left rail) lists every badge in its Collection: pick one to see what it means and how to earn it.

  • Yours holds the badges you own, then the ones you can claim now. All shows every badge.
  • A badge you qualify for has a Claim button. Nothing is given automatically: you claim it, and we check that you still qualify when you do.
  • A badge you do not qualify for yet is Locked, with a line on how to earn it.
  • A claimed badge is kept only while you still meet its requirement (Premium, a Discord role, a boost, your connected Discord account). When you stop, it is taken back.
  • Donation badges (Sponsor, Trendsetter, High Roller, Donor) and Bug Hunter are given by our team.

Status badges such as Verified, Staff or Early Access are never for sale. The Vanguard badge is a limited supporter badge, sold by card in the Shop while it lasts (never for coins). Early Access is a closed list of the first 100 accounts and is never extended.

Choose the badges a page shows

  1. In the editor, choose Badges in the left rail.
  2. Pick Add to page on the badges you want. Under On your page, drag them into order or remove them; pick one to give it a colour for this page.
  3. Choose Save changes. Each page keeps its own choice.

A page can show up to 8 badges. A badge you receive later is added at the end of each page that still has room.

Make your own badge

On the same page, Create a badge makes a badge of your own: a name of up to 24 characters and an icon, from the icon library or uploaded. Each custom badge needs a Badge Emblem (what used to be called a custom badge slot), bought in the Shop; there are no free ones. The Badges page shows how many Badge Emblems you have left.

  • Uploaded icons: SVG, PNG, JPG, WebP or GIF, square works best.
  • Names that sound official (such as Verified, Staff or Official) are kept for our team.
  • When our team reviews new custom badges, a badge shows on your page once it is approved.
  • Custom badges are always marked as custom, and only appear on your own pages.

Badges as Discord roles

Connect Discord in Settings, Account, and the beseen Discord server and your badges follow each other within a few minutes:

  • User: connecting Discord gives you the User role in the server and lets you claim the User badge.
  • Premium: you get the Premium role while you have Premium, and it is taken back when Premium ends.
  • Guild Tag (wear our server tag) and Supporter (boost the server): the badge is yours to claim while you do, and is taken back when you stop.
  • Inviter: invite 30 people to the server, then claim it. If your count drops below that, the badge and its role go.
  • Team badges, Media Uploader, Verified and the like: when our team gives you the matching role in Discord you can claim the badge. Losing the role removes the badge.
  • Bug Hunter works both ways: the role lets you claim the badge, and the badge gives you the role.

Disconnecting Discord takes back the roles, the User badge and the badges that depended on your Discord account.
