Layouts and appearance
Choosing a layout
Preview the layouts, apply one, and what happens to a Premium layout.
A layout decides how your page arranges its introduction and its blocks. Your content stays the same whichever layout you pick: switching never deletes anything.
The layouts
| Layout | What it looks like | Plan |
|---|---|---|
| Free Mode | Arrange your blocks freely: move, resize and pin them anywhere on the page. | Free |
| Modern | One wide card: your photo beside your name and bio, then links and integrations as compact tiles, two to a row. | Free |
| Classic Card | A centred glass card with your avatar, name, bio and links. | Free |
| Split | A two-part card: your identity on the left, links, integrations and content on the right. | Free |
| Dock | A focused hero, with your links in a dock along the bottom. | Free |
| Deck | Your sections as a carousel of cards to swipe through. | Premium |
| Orbit | Your avatar at the centre, with links orbiting it like satellites. | Premium |
| Terminal | A terminal session where your links and content print as command output. | Premium |
| Scrapbook | A desk of polaroids, sticky notes, cassettes, stamps and handwritten links. | Premium |
| Hex Grid | A honeycomb around your avatar, with badges on the outer ring. | Premium |
| Vinyl | A spinning record, track details, a visualizer and a ticker of links. | Premium |
| Constellation | Your links as stars, connected around your avatar in space. | Premium |
Preview and apply
- Open your page in the editor and choose the Layout tab.
- Press a layout to preview it. Nothing is saved yet: visitors still see your current layout. Switch the preview between desktop, tablet and mobile, or open it full screen.
- Change the layout’s own options under Customize, such as a card’s blur or a record’s speed.
- Press Save changes to apply it, or Discard to go back to what visitors see now.
Each layout keeps its own options, so you can try another one and come back without setting it up again.
Free Mode
Free Mode is the one layout where you place and size the blocks yourself. Every other layout places them for you. The positions you set in Free Mode are kept and come back when you return to it. See Arranging blocks.
Reset to Free Mode switches the page back to Free Mode at once and clears the options you set for every layout. Your blocks, pins, media and addresses are not touched.
Premium layouts
Anyone can preview and customise a Premium layout, but only an account with Premium can save it. Without Premium the editor says the layout needs Premium and does not save it.
If Premium ends, your page shows Free Mode again. Your choice and its options are kept, and come back if you get Premium again.
“Nothing to preview”
A page needs an address before the preview can show it. Give it one in the Aliases section first.
